Poor man's tool for derotating Jupiter videos
This is a quick and simple tool for derotating 8-bit SER Jupiter videos (start Derotate.exe
in the FireCapture folder). Note it will not compensate for changing
limb illumination so it can't compete with WinJUPOS derotation but it
works resonable well for shorter captures up to 5min. To open a file
drag&drop it into the file list. For derotating a complete RGB
sequence open the 3 SER files at once and press "Yes" if it asks for
derotating to the middle of the sequence.
Steps
1. Drag and drop one or more video files (only 8 Bit SER supported)
2. Select the correct image orientation depending on how Jupiter rotates in your image
3. Start de-rotation by pressing the start button

Limitations
Works only for Jupiter images properly aligend (see image below)
No limb illumination correction so longer videos may cause limb artefacts
